FAQ
At Restoration Roastery, we believe in transparency and keeping our customers informed. Below are some of the commonly asked questions we receive. If you have any further queries, feel free to reach out to us and we will be happy to assist you.
-
Where do you source your coffee from?We work with multiple different green coffee importers and distributors across the country. We are working hard right now to build relationships with farms across the globe and hope to import green coffee directly from the producing farmers in the near future. Fair wages and sustainably grown coffee are important to us and we want to strive to improve with our purchasing on an ongoing basis.
-
How much of your profit goes to human trafficking causes? We do not donate a certain percentage on an ongoing basis. This was a decision we made early on in the forming of our business as we want to let the Lord lead us in this area on a month after month basis. But we do commit that a minimum of 10% of our monthly profit will be donated, but in most cases a substantially larger amount is given.
-
What if I am not a coffee drinker? If you do not drink coffee, no problem. You can still get involved and take us out of the loop all together. Go to The Normandy Project website and there are ways to donate from there. https://normandyproject.com/

What do you guys believe? This is an interesting question for us. How our answer to this question is received is based on each individual's past experience and the example they have had lived out in their lives. The best way we know to remove any negative connotation related to religion and denomination is to say: We are passionate followers of Jesus Christ.

What is the meaning behind the name of your company? The word "Roastery" is pretty self explanatory and most likely does not need any further explanation than: We roast coffee in house. But the word "Restoration" is the real reason for everything we do. We are human and have made huge mistakes in life that have not only set us back and hindered us from being who we were created to be, but we also hurt other people in our selfishness. We know that you cannot change the past no matter how much you want to, but you can be thankful for it. The Lord can, and will if you let him, take all those negative acts and experiences and turn them into positive growth. That is the whole biblical meaning of the word "Restoration" - life better than you deserve and better than it could have been if you never made those mistakes in the first place. It does not erase all the mistakes and hurt, it just makes them all part of God's plan and teaches you more about His Love.
